ConsultCA is a non-partisan platform that makes it easy for Canadians to find, understand, and participate in government consultations — at every level, in every province.
The problem we're solving
Every year, Canadian governments at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels run hundreds of public consultations. Most Canadians never hear about them. The ones who do often find the process confusing, inaccessible, or not worth the effort.
The result is that public consultations are dominated by organized interest groups, while ordinary citizens — the people most affected by policy — have little meaningful input.
What ConsultCA does
We aggregate public consultations from all provinces, territories, and the federal government into one searchable, easy-to-use platform. We translate government language into plain English and French, and we make it simple to submit your feedback.
We then track outcomes — showing you how public input influenced final decisions, so participation feels meaningful rather than performative.
Who we are
ConsultCA is built by Nation Code Canada, a BC-based non-profit focused on AI, digital services, and civic technology. We believe technology should strengthen democratic participation, not replace it.
