ConsultCA collects only the information necessary to facilitate your participation in public consultations. This includes your email address (if you register), your province of residence, and the content of feedback you submit. We do not collect financial information or government identification.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to send you updates about consultations you follow, to aggregate anonymized participation statistics, and to transmit your feedback to the relevant government department when you choose to submit. We do not use your information for advertising.
Anonymous Submissions
When you submit feedback anonymously, your name and contact information are not included in the submission forwarded to government. ConsultCA retains a de-identified record solely for quality assurance purposes.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Feedback you submit is shared only with the government department conducting the relevant consultation, as is the purpose of this platform.
Data Retention
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at nationcode@proton.me.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. ConsultCA is hosted on AWS infrastructure with SOC 2-compliant data handling.
