Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ConsultCA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and submitters.

Purpose of the Platform

ConsultCA is a civic technology platform designed to facilitate public participation in government consultations. It is not an official Government of Canada service and does not guarantee that submissions will be acted upon by government.

User Conduct

You agree not to submit feedback that is defamatory, hateful, fraudulent, or intended to manipulate the consultation process through coordinated inauthentic behaviour. ConsultCA reserves the right to remove submissions that violate these standards.

Accuracy of Information

Consultation summaries on ConsultCA are provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we encourage users to review official government sources for authoritative consultation documents.

Intellectual Property

Content you submit to consultations remains yours. By submitting, you grant ConsultCA and the relevant government department a licence to use that content for the purposes of the consultation.

Limitation of Liability

ConsultCA is provided as-is. Nation Code Canada is not liable for any outcomes resulting from government decisions, regardless of whether consultation feedback was submitted through this platform.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
